I'll See Your Nobel and Raise You

There is a theme starting to develop in the Democratic Party. It almost smells of compassion. I would say it is compassion but I just can't see it in politics now days. This is the second Nobel Peace Prize in recent years given to a high ranking Democratic leader ( I'm going to try to keep this out of the mud and stay somewhat diplomatic). The reason in both instances is because the person getting it showed compassion and concern for their fellow brothers and sisters.
Ultimately that is what it boils down to. I have to say that for once, it would be nice to see the republicans accept the fact that somebody in the democratic party really did help their fellow people. But instead they have to raise a stink. For once, they need to shut the hell up! Ohhh, there goes the diplomacy. Really, they need to shut up. All they do is screw up things that effect the middle class so of course they don't get a Nobel. Because someone who deserves a Nobel Peace Prize isn't bitching when somebody else gets one. It's like spoiled kid who always gets in trouble. They always have a name handy to place any blame that lies with them onto. And you know what? I don't know one person that actually has enough money to benefit from Republican policy. One hundred thousand k a year isn't going to put you over the barriers that all middle class face. Not even close. And since 80% of us are middle class, policy alone should prevent  republicans from becoming president. But it doesn't. So if you hear the republican leaders bitching about something, it's only for one of two reasons. Someone else did good and they can't let that sit or they got busted doing something wrong and they're sending up smokescreens to distract everyone. If you are going to drive the country, take the car out of reverse and quit looking in the damn rearview mirror and go forward. I think the word I'm looking for is progress. Next article I'll hammer the dems.
